Alexander S. C. Rower

Alexander S. C. Rower is the grandson of the artist and sculptor Alexander Calder (1898–1976). He is president of the Calder Foundation in New York, which he founded in 1987, aged 24, to promote and archive the artist’s work.
The Calder Foundation and the Fondation Beyeler have a longstanding partnership: Works from the Calder Foundation are being showed in a series of curated presentations, the "Calder Gallery", at the Fondation Beyeler.
